Nowadays, he is known as a well-rounded globe trotter. Just recently returning from a campaign in the Austrian Alps , Mark met a local who invited him to spend time with his family out of the blue – Not the hospitality one is too familiar with in Sydney. What do moments like these mean to one who discovers a generous heart? Mark explains:
Coming from urban Australia, it’s moments like these, a contrast between a hectic city life and the small-town friendliness in the mountains, that I really appreciate as a traveler. For me, it’s about being able to show the experiences behind the photos, inspiring people to try new things or hit the road on an adventure. I hope that photography will enable me to continue to travel the world and take me to new and exciting places, allow me to keep meeting amazing people, and help me grow as a person, but above all giving me a new lens in which to view the world.
