Party & Bullshit

Future Music Festival has just wrapped up its first weekend – we’re still crying from Drake’s set, but have managed to wipe away the tears to show you some of our favourite fashion moments from Sydney’s installment.

Presented by our good pals at General Pants, see the outfits below and where to shop the look. Pow:

This girl is slaying with the breezy floral two-piece and Doc Martens. Her clothing says “I’m a delicate soul”, while her footwear says “I’ll kick your ass if I have to”. Doc Martens are crucial to any wardrobe – they age better than most humans, and can be worn by both fashionable girls and drunk skinheads. She tops it off with reflective hater shades because she’s a boss. High five for this one.

An outfit of seasoned street classics. This guy has managed to show off the big guns without being a sweaty, shirtless douchebag – a Stussy cut-off pairs well with the five-panel, while you can never, ever go wrong with Converse Chuck Taylors.

What do you get when you cross rural ruggedness with urban finesse? A monotone denim playsuit for your ass. Remember when Paris Hilton & Nicole Ritchie worked on a farm? This is kind of like that, but more tasteful.

Shop The Fifth Label Lost Soul Playsuit here.

Future Music Festival and Soundwave Festival were on the same day in Sydney. This guy would fit in at both. Is he about to see Knife Party or Fear Factory? This dude has about fifty shades of grey on in his outfit.

Shop Converse Leather Chuck Taylors here, and pattered pull-up socks here.

Wearing long denim to the festival is always a risk, luckily this girl has some tactically placed ventialtion holes around the knee and thigh, which have also been torn in the most farshun manner possible with frayed edges. Killing two birds with one stone, fuck yeah!

Shop One Teaspoon London Freebirds here.

Nautical long-sleeve from Australian kings Ksubi – horizontal stripes are always a winner for us. This dude was probably the most composed person in the whole festival, look at that power stance.

Shop the Ksubi Sailor Stripe tee here.

An overstated top-half outfit manages to balance well with black denim and boots down below, finished off with some tortoise shell shades. An oversize belt buckle gives off feminine, cowgirl Chuck Norris vibes – huge compliment FYI.

Vans Bowl-A-Rama finished last week, but old mate here may have just come straight from the event. Very strong skate & surf vibe here, look at those luscious locks fly.
