Party & Bullshit

When we headed to Bali with For The Love back in November, it became clear that these guys know how to throw one hell of a shindig.

Last weekend, the music & lifestyle soiree returned to its original home at St. Kilda with its biggest lineup yet, and we tagged along for the ride!

With premium bayside views from Riva offering a perfect backdrop, FTL brought us Touch Sensitive at sundown, where punters enjoyed views from the Nana Judy lounge stacked with complimentary buffet food and endless brews from Coors. It was a fitting way for Nana Judy to celebrate their 10th birthday with a well-dressed crowd wearing summer-friendly NJ threads.

Continuing with the anniversaries, Touch Sensitive also announced that it had been exactly three years since he first performed his definitive single ‘Pizza Guy,’ and the crowd celebrated with a huge response and smooth dancefloor action.

After earning a cult audience with their ‘Decades’ mixes, Flight Facilities brought their genre-free and generation-spanning sets to the stage which covered everything that you could possibly want from the two. Beginning in the 80s, rampaging through the 90s and wrapping up in the 00s, FF also squeezed some of their old faves into the mix – the 4000 strong crowd belted out ‘Crave You’ while they mashed ‘Two Bodies’ with Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams.’ FF ended their set with two certified classics – club anthem ‘Drop The Pressure’ and finally ‘Love Is In The Air’ for another warm sing-a-long.

Check out all the FTL pictures here, with the event planning a return to Bali this year before heading for another expansion in Los Angeles.
