Well, not technically, but that was definitely the feeling as we began the 2023 party season at the iconic Mrs Macquarie’s Point for Harbourlife. The festival has established itself at the pinnacle of one-day festivals in Australia over the years, and yesterday’s event did nothing but further that notion.
Importing Italian trio Meduza (who delivered a sizzling set) as well as UK producer Patrick Topping was a masterstroke from the Fuzzy team, with attendees lapping up the euro-centric sets with the Sydney Harbour in the background.
