Since taking off with ‘Permission To Love’ back in 2013, Hayden James has pleasantly graced dancefloors and festivals across the globe with his tasteful brand of house – emotive, eloquent and made for the romantics. It’s appropriate then that his show features plenty of pashing and saliva swapping for audience members coupled off around the venue,and you get the feeling that a Hayden James show is a pretty neat idea for a first date.
Singles like ‘Something About You’ and ‘Just A Lover’ earned mass sing-a-longs from the audience. James also dropped a remix of Duke Dumont’s huge single ‘Ocean Drive’, while ‘Something About You’ appeared once again to close the show in the form of an extended rework from Odesza, with Dena Amy providing live vocals and confetti cannons going off like there was no tomorrow.
