Sponsored by Hard Fizz with food supported by local legends Costa Taco, the latest iteration of Need2Freak saw the famed party outfit amass a swarm of local and international selectors, bringing together the likes of Cassettes For Kids, Sub An, Ca-Lou, Elliot Ramsey and of course, a cheeky B2B from Wongo and Little Fritter for what was a day-long explosion in house, breaks, DNB and everything in between.
Knowing that it would be one of the last Need2Freaks in the Gold Coast for some time, attendees and DJs alike rose to the occasion, bringing all of the energy at their disposal for a full day of throwing down. Not even the elements could dampen their spirit, the mountains of rain bucketing down failing to slow things down as punters danced the night away across a specially-built multi-level scaffold.
