Having previously visited Australia on a festival run, this week marked the debut Australian tour from house producer Tourist, fresh off the back of his heavily-praised debut album U.

The fact that Tourist has co-writing credits on Sam Smith’s monumental ‘Stay With Me’ should tell you that he’s proficient with the hits, while his Triple J feature album accolade means that the love for Tourist is very strong Down Under. Punters decided to start their weekend early with Tourist’s Thursday night show at Oxford Art Factory, where he brought U to life with wonderfully chill results. See all the action above:
