We spent a day in California hanging out with Sebo Walker for our latest edition for TwentyFour.

It’s not uncommon for an athlete to have an artistic outlet (or vice versa) and excel in both pursuits. The same trajectory usually applies whatever your field is; it starts off as interest, then an obsession, then a career, provided you have built up the skills along the way. Combining the two, however, is pretty rare, but that’s exactly the space that Oregon-born pro skateboarder Sebo Walker operates in.

Colourful, quirky, and spontaneous, Sebo’s artworks reflect his personality and skating style in many ways. Whether he’s dropping epic parts on Thrasher or turning a blank canvas into something extraordinary, his expressive but relaxed demeanor radiates and infects people around him – proving that sometimes nice guys do finish first.
