Ready for a big dose of nostalgia?

For those of us who are old enough to remember the OG Space Jam starring Michael Jordan, Bill Murray and the Looney Toons squad, the announcement of an updated version of the film with LeBron James brought back a flood of memories. The 1996 film seemed to take over the world, becoming the hot topic of playground discussion for what felt like years. Whether we were pretending to be characters from the film, shooting hoops, or playing with the toys, there was no escaping it – not that we wanted to!

Now, with Space Jam: A New Legacy hitting Australian cinemas on July 8th, our excitement and obsession has been reignited. Like a freshly lit stick of cartoon dynamite, we’re edging closer each second to what will surely be an explosion of laughs and entertainment, with LeBron and the Toon Squad facing a whole fresh roster of adversaries.
