PornHub’s findings from our most intimate moments are fascinating – and as always, the 2017 report included a few surprises encased within the 28.5 billion visits they received last year. Perhaps most eyebrow raising of all, the whirlwind popularity of fidget spinners somehow crossed over into the porn world, becoming one of the year’s top trending searches on the site. PornHub state that fidget spinners resulted in “some very creative amateur videos,” sitting alongside ‘porn for women’ (signalling a huge increase in female viewership)and ‘Rick & Morty’ (fair enough) as 2017’s premier trends:
In overall searched terms, the usual favourites like ‘lesbian’ and ‘MILF’ dominated, while ‘hentai’ surged upwards a powerful six spots since 2016, making the animated adult entertainment a widely popular genre:
Meanwhile, Riley Reid topped the list of popular pornstars, while the ever-controversial (and part-time sports reporter) Mia Khalifa slid in at second place. And despite not really being a pornstar (sans an amateur video from a decade back), Kim Kardashian also appeared on the top end:
And right here in Australia, viewers are as horny as ever. As pointed out by PornHub, “Australia proves their love for their vast interior desert wilderness, also known as the Outback, with the Outdoor category being 24% more popular there than in other countries.” Elsewhere, Aussies have also displayed their love of lesbians, creampie gangbangs, and yes, fidget spinners:
