Some people have a lot of time on their hands.
It’s not every day you find a “new” joke from the golden period of The Simpsons, but I can only imagine the bloke who re-watched this episode and decided he’s going to run the video through Adobe Audition was probably having a pretty quiet one at work. That said, using the program we’re now able to lay our ears on a line from the episode where Bart goes to watch fictionalised rock band Spinal Tap.
As shown in the video below, you can hear that Marge makes a joke about Bart following the band’s attitudes to wards women, liquor etc. In the Twitter thread, which has now received 1.1 million views, Ewzzy Rayburn explains how he unearthed the audio and restored it to an audible level:
