2020 has been a year for a lot of things. A bunch of life changing shit has taken place in this doozy of a year, and everyone has had to go through some cooked hardships at one point or another. But one person who 2020 has been somewhat okay to is Nathan Apodaca AKA Doggface208, who achieved world fame after his viral Fleetwood Mac TikTok. The video blew up from the moment it was released. The mix of Fleetwood’s ‘Dreams,’ the cranberry juice, the skating down the road. It was just the perfect mix that resonated so deeply, and introduced a whole new generation to Fleetwood Mac. Now, Doggface is back with another vid, which still manages to have a sneaky Fleetwood Easter egg in there for us.
The new clip is basically the same as the first, but this time, there’s no cranberry juice, and instead of ‘Dreams’ the song is Miley Cyrus’ ‘Edge of Midnight,’ which mashes up her own hit ‘Midnight Sky’ with Stevie Nicks’ solo tune ‘Edge of Seventeen.’ It’s a nice new addition, and you can tell this time Nathan is aware of his TikTok prowess, and is enjoying the spoils of his fame.
Opening up in a recent interview, Nicks said she’s “tickled pink” about Fleetwood’s resurgence in popular culture. She also has offered advice for new fans starting to get into the band, saying “If the young kids start listening to Fleetwood Mac, start with the first album and just go through them. Sit down and be in it for the long run, and you’ll have the best time.”
Solid advice. You know what to do. Check out the latest TikTok below.
