Turns out not even statewide lockdowns can slow down Sydney clothing vendor MISFIT, the apparel lords revealing the second instalment of their much-loved Spring ’21 ‘Sun Starers’ range along with the first drop of the ‘Dope Machine’ boardshort.

The new ‘Sun Starer’ drop sees the thread-smiths get extra versatile this time around, making use of both vibrant and neutral colour ways along with dynamic fabrics and looks. Whether you’re frolicking about in the sun or kicking back indoors, the new instalment has you more than covered as you make your way into the summertime.

Along with the new crop of ‘Sun Starers,’ M/SF/T have included a series of self shot-stills courtesy of the ‘Friends of M/SF/T,’ with local legends like Mitch Coleborn, Camille Savage, Jake Vincent, Monica Kubiak and plenty more getting crafty with some film cameras to show off the new pieces.

Naturally, the process was breezy as, with MISFIT explaining “Like many (in Aus anyway…) we’ve been hamstrung on living life as normal, including for us as a brand producing shoots + campaigns. So we called on some “Friends of M/SF/T” to showcase the collection with nothing more than a highly technical disposable camera and this simple instruction; “take photos in your home, your zone, in a way that you see life, take us on a journey into the way you live.”

To cap off the day of releases, M/SF/T have given us a look at the first drop of the ‘Drop Machine’ boardshort (out September 15th); the new lower body garment focused on all things fun and fast. But it’s got the environmental friendliness to match, sustainably produced and made from recycled plastic bottles along with up-cycled coconuts, staying faithful to M/SF/T’s mantra of ‘Less waste, more fun.’

To show off the new shorts, M/SF/T have done a solid and called on Mitch Coleborn to show them off while kicking back in sunny Indonesia. Naturally, they get their dose of action, but are more than up to the task. Check them out below and be sure to head to M/SF/T’s website to get familiar with mens and women’s Spring ’21 ‘Sun Starers’ instalment and ‘Dope Machine’ drop #1.
