The day was such a success that it was announced that FOMO would be hitting Brisbane once more in January 2017, and also expanding to two other cities – Adelaide and Sydney. With a line-up consisting of crossover trap lords Flosstradamus, trend-setting producer Metro Boomin, grime spitter JME and the return of local heroes Empire Of The Sun, it goes without saying that this is gonna be a colossal day soundtracked by a delectable mixed bill. Oh yeah, did we mention that Desiigner is making his Aussie debut here?
In celebration of the festival’s expansion to Sydney, we’ve teamed up with our mates from BBE & OCD to present the ‘Countdown to FOMO’ parties – a series of soirees across NSW that’ll prepare your bodies for the main event come January. The Countdown To FOMO gigs will be hitting Newcastle, Mona Vale & Rouse Hill throughout November & December, giving these locations a taste of what’s to come.
The line-ups will be spearheaded by some of the most exciting talents in local electronica: First up we have Slumberjack, the Perth duo who have proved themselves to be some of the country’s most exciting producers – evidenced by collaborations with Newcastle OG and ex-Silverchair legend Daniel Johns, their recently released Stormzy edit and tracks on the illustrious Mad Decent imprint. Also on the bill is Feki, the Brisbane-based beat-maker whose lush, layered sounds have earned him endless praise of the Sunshine State.
All the dates and details for Countdown To FOMO parties can be seen below, while you can grab tickets to all three parties right here. See you there:
