Don’t Monday’s suck sometimes? The memory of Saturday night’s debaucherous club hopping has almost faded, but somehow the hangover is still lingering. You’re paying for your public transport that’s already running late in the change from yesterday’s expensive breakfast and that girl you met on Friday night still hasn’t responded to your emoji-fuelled late night txt. It’s OK – before you know it, it’ll be the weekend again, or Wednesday night is a perfect excuse for beers. But until then we’ve got some tracks to keep you going through the longest day of the week.

1. ‘Acting Like’ (Prod. by Shlohmo) – Tory Lanez

Ahead of his show at Splendour in the Grass and crew WEDIDIT taking over clubs and airwaves across Australia, Shlohmo has produced a track for collective member Tory Lanez. The Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter and producer dropped his latest mixtape ‘Cruel Intentions’ with ‘Acting Like’ the warped lead single.

2. ‘Girl’ feat. Kaytranada – The Music

Produced by Kaytranada, The Internet, a subgroup from the now-disbanded Odd Future crew led by Syd the Kyd and Matt Martians have just dropped this slow-jam ‘Girl’. From their upcoming album ‘Ego Death’ which is set to feature Janelle Monae, Vic Mensa and Tyler the Creator.

3. ‘Keep‘ – I’lls

Melbourne-based band I’lls just dropped ‘Keep’ off the forthcoming EP – ‘Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country’. With some lovely Radiohead vibes, the former Jazz students have gone from strength to strength with their tight new releases.

4. ‘All Around The World’ – Rejjie Snow

Rejjie Snow, is a rapper from Dublin, Ireland with some serious vibes. ‘All Around The World‘ is produced by Chance The Rapper affiliate Cam O’bi and features Rejjie’s candid lyricism alongside a hazy, Neptunes-like vocal melody.

5. ‘Awake for Days’ – Alta

The title track, from their latest EP ‘Awake For Days‘, is one Melbourne-duo Alta’s finest tracks yet. Singer Hannah Lesser’s voice smoothly wraps itself around producer Julius Dowson’s expert percussion and the song makes you want to stay up all night to listen to it.
