It’s a fear that no one should have to endure. Being down to your last 12 beers during a lockdown, with heading down to your local bottle o being the equivalent of taking a walk around a dystopian wasteland. It’s a choice no one should have to make, especially someone who’s 93-years-old.
Pennsylvania woman Olive Veronesi was down to her last dozen beers last week when she made a desperate plea online for someone to help her get her fix, and as if answering her prayers, the world replied. The image was posted on CBS Pittsburg’s Facebook before being shared more than 51,000 times. It even went so far as reaching the Molson Coors Beverage Company, who make the beer ‘Coors Light’, who delivered her 150 cans of beer to replenish her stock.
“I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it,” Veronesi said when she received the delivery. And it looks like she won’t be running out of her favourite beverage any time soon, with Molson Coors offering her a standing offer for more Coors Light whenever they need a restock.
Super cool, check out the pics below of the most wholesome 93-year-old on the planet.
