Unsurprisingly, the woman is getting sued.

An Australian woman and her family have been living it up after being handed 10.4 million dollars by mistake.

The woman, Thevamanogari Manivel, was meant to receive a $100 refund from the cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com when a royal f**k-up left her with upwards of ten big ones.

Upon receiving the cash, Manivel proceeded to distribute it amongst family members and live the high life, at one point purchasing a $1.35 million mansion with four bedrooms and bathrooms (as well as a home gym and cinema), for her sister, Thilagavathy Gangadory.

Everything was going well for Manivel and co until a routine audit at Crypto.com uncovered the screw-up. Now, she and her sister are facing legal action, with Crypto.com demanding they pay it all back, along with 10 per cent interest, as well as any legal costs. I mean, what did they expect really?

Last Friday, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the crypto website after Gangadory and her lawyers failed to show. Something tells me we won’t be hearing from them again any time soon.
