Gonna make that morning brush a hell of a lot easier…

Striving to make your toothbrushing experiences a thousand times more thorough and futuristic, Colgate recently unveiled a new range of smart toothbrushes called hum, developed specifically to help consumers advance their tooth-brushing experience. The pastel-coloured brushes use smart sensors that track the duration, frequency and coverage of its user’s brushing style.

Speaking on the release, Colgate Vice President of Marketing stated “hum by Colgate was designed with the consumer in mind to create a more accessible smart electric toothbrush to help more people brush better. hum also meets the consumer demand for a lightweight and sleek toothbrush that delivers a powerful clean. For consumers, good habits are key to staying happy and healthy, and they prefer brands that help them build those habits in easy and fun ways.”

Using 3D sonic vibration technology, the toothbrush targets specific spots that need additional cleaning in the users mouth. It can also connect to the Apple Health app or the hum by Colgate app to show the user their personal data. Adding onto the seemingly never-ending list of features, Colgate rewards users with points every time it tracks improvement in brushing technique. Those points can then be used to purchase products within the app shop, including brush head refills (which we all know ain’t cheap).

The rechargeable brushes are available for $69.99 USD ($97.31 AUD), with its battery powered iterations going for $49.99 USD ($69.50 AUD). You can cop them from Colgate here.
