Almost reads like a ‘Home & Away’ plot…

Living out a Home and Away storyline for all of us to see, former star of the hit soap Putu Winchester-Stanton is among seven men being charged for drug offences in Byron Bay. Specifically, the arrest came after two separate investigations into the supply of cocaine in the coastal escape, with police finding homes in Byron Bay, Bangalow and Mullumbimby to all have large amounts of cocaine and cash at 1pm a couple weeks back.

And these blokes weren’t in the rookie leagues, with police finding approximately 340 grams of cocaine and more than $25,000 cash.

Winchester-Stanton, who appeared on Home and Away in 2000, was charged with 10 offences, which were included (but not limited to) supplying commercial quantity of prohibited drugs and knowingly directing the activities of a criminal group (catch this on the soap in six months). As of now he’s had his bail refused, along with several of the men he was charged with.

Pretty crazy stuff, check out what the cops seized from the former star and his ring below.
