Locally grown and brewed…

Hot off their breakthrough Botanical Eau De Vie that launched last year, Feels Botanical are back with a fruity new BASK made up of native Australian quandong, Kakadu plum and hemp. Aptly named after the French term for “water of life,” Feels BASK eau de vie is a melting pot of herbal spirit with pinches of stewed plum and green apple swirling within. Finished off with subtle spice, and it’s a total taste explosion.

Created by local spirit connoisseurs Blake Vanderfield-Kramer and Steve Pillemer, the new BASK is a unique, homegrown take on the classic European fruit brandy. But dare we say Feels Botanical’s take on the spirit is superior to the original, boasting superior quality, flavour profile and richness that set it apart from its contemporaries.

To produce this concoction, Feels Botanical hand blend each ingredient and spice in a copper pot still. Following a maceration period and gentle distillation, the two connoisseurs pull the sweet elixir out, and reduce it with water. Once bottled and ready to go, the BASK is well-suited to all your tasting needs.

If you’re looking for peak pleasure, we highly recommend serving it over ice and top with mediterranean tonic water and a lemon wedge. Or, if you’re feeling dangerous, as a twist on the classic Tommy’s Margarita cocktail. But regardless, you and your tastebuds will be well looked after. You can cop the Feels BASK directly from the Feels Botanical website and stockists as well as any of the key cocktail bars in Sydney such as The Herring Room, Bert’s by Merivale, Rocker bar Bondi and Harvest to name a few.
