Kanye West has just turned 38 years old, and his wife surprised him with an all-star baller birthday. Justin Bieber, Tyga, Pusha T & more joined the rap star at the downtown LA venue for a clever ‘West vs. East’ basketball match – complete with cheerleaders, referees, customised jerseys and all.

John Legend was there to sing ‘Happy Birthday’, while NBA star James Harden and ‘Mercy’ colleague 2 Chainz acted as coaches. A-Trak took care of the tunes on the turntables, while personalised videos from Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal and more were displayed on the jumbotron.

This is actually a pretty heartwarming and thoughtful gift from Kim – and it definitely helps that she has a shitload of money to help her pull it off in style and stay true to the theme. No word on whether 2 Chainz dunked on anyone or whether ‘Hard In Da Paint‘ dropped, but we can only pray.
