I know what you’re thinking. “What’s the catch?” And look, we’re not gonna front, there is a slight condition attached, but for the mere job of making coffees all day, it’s well worth it.
The catch in question that the cafe is located in Broome, Western Australia. Titled ‘Good Cartel’, the coffee joint has stated that they have a “reputation for retaining excellent staff who receive excellent pay”, and for that salary, we don’t doubt them.
Seems a bit too good to be true right? Well, you can blame the lockdowns for the blown-up price tag, with owner Jack Kain explaining,“It’s a better than usual strategy now with the labour shortage, which has now fallen well and truly off the cliff. When you combine this with the rental shortage and all of the various Covid restrictions incoming it’s going to be challenging.”
Looks like I’m moving to Broome. Check out ‘Good Cartel’ below and start honing your latte art.
