Somehow this sounds completely plausible…

Joe Exotic’s first husband John Finlay recently confirmed that the seven alligators and one alligator that were killed in an inferno at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in 2015 belonged to none other than the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Interestingly, this fun fact wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the Tiger King Netflix series.

“The building can be replaced, the equipment can be replaced, but Michael Jackson’s alligators cannot be replaced”, Exotic said at the time. He claimed that only one of MJ’s alligators had died whilst the other was recording, but sadly that wasn’t the case.

The incident burned down the production studio for the Tiger King star’s show Joe Exotic TV, which he used to record his music. Exotic claimed that the fire was a personal attack by someone “trying to make a statement” in an attempt to get him off the air, but the authorities never ruled him out as a suspect in the fiery blaze…
