In another move to lower restrictions, the NSW government is allowing pubs and clubs to reopen their restaurants and cafes from this Friday. Under the new guidelines, a maximum of ten people will be allowed to sit down and dine in a pub or club at any given time. But sadly, bars and gaming facilities will be remaining closed, but if you’re dining you’ll be able to get table services for alcohol with your meal.
“This is an important first step, and we want it to be a success, so that as venues transition back from closure they do so safely both for their staff and their customers,” Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said.
The rollback comes with lifting of restrictions regarding outdoor gatherings, home visits, weddings, funerals and places of worship. Local and regional travel is still banned however, but people are allowed to leave their home for recreational purposes.
Looks like the world is starting to slowly get back to normal, fingers crossed we can keep this momentum going…
