Good riddance.

The renowned hip hop organisation has since released a statement online…

Notorious rapper and social media star Spanian made headlines this past weekend following a recently deleted Instagram rant targeting Mardi Gras and the LGBTQIA+ community. Starting the video with, “I’m f***ing sick of this f***ing perverted, putrid s***”, Spanian quickly went on to use homophobic language and hurtle a series of accusations/insults too vile to include in this article. It ultimately culminated in him referencing cancel culture as he exclaimed, “What else do we have to accept? Because we’re too scared to talk because you cancel everyone else. What else?”

Since the video’s release, Spanian has drawn criticism from all corners of the internet. However, perhaps the most important of which was from his former management company, Sydney hip hop organisation One Day. Posting a statement online shortly after the 35-year-old’s rant, the company wrote, “We strongly condemn Spanian conflating issues around child-grooming and pedophilia in connection to the LGBTQIA+ community during WorldPride in a recent Instagram video” before concluding with “Our company is no longer representing Spanian, effective immediately.”

Despite the universal condemnation of Spanian’s actions, he’s continued to hurtle similar rhetoric at Mardi Gras celebrations, with his most recent post from the past hour showing him mocking celebrators at Hyde. It seems he’s hellbent on dying on this hill, to say the least. For now, check out One Day’s statement condemning the rapper below.
