Caramilk was a fad that seriously didn’t get enough shine for how hard it rocked the culture when it first debut, and when Cadbury brought it back at the end of 2019, well, it was Caramilk’s world and we were all just living (and eating) in it. It’s been a while since we’ve properly heard anything concerning Caramilk however, the mouth-watering, irresistible flavour coming and going in a flash before the shitstorm of 2020. But now, we’ve gotten some beautiful news, and it looks like there’s a new sheriff in dessert town.
Streets (the company behind Magnum) is coming through hard for the Caramilk OGs, debuting its own Caramilk flavoured Magnum across Australia. Although they aren’t directly teamed up with Cadbury for the new product, it seems like its gonna be a home run either way (I mean there’s no universe where Caramilk doesn’t taste fucking amazing).
Of course, they’re a bit on the pricey side, with a pack of four costing $10.50 at your local supermarket. But with luxury ice cream such as this, honestly, you shouldn’t be surprised.
The new Caramilk magnums are said to be part of a new Luxe range, which also features a new Cake Batter Flavour and a salted caramel ice cream tub. All I have to say at this point is shut up and take my money.
If you’re keen to broaden your Caramilk horizons beyond magnums however, a Sydney cafe named Cheat Day cafe (whoever thought of that name needs a raise) has debuted their own Caramilk choctop, and it’s bloody beautiful. Check it out below to get salivating.
