Diplo & Skrillex will both be here for Stereosonic, and here they’ve banded together as Jack U. On ‘Take U There’ they enlist guest vocals from Kiesza, who was just announced on the lineup for Future Music Festival. RiFF RAFF spits a couple of eccentric verses, again proving that he’s hip-hop’s ultimate troll.
Local duo Polographia return with their first track in nearly two years, spreading the vibes on ‘Plastic Mountain’ featuring Kamaliza. Some lush synth work makes the track a silky smooth ride throughout, with the bass edging this ever so closely towards the dancefloor.

Since her days as the fierce frontwoman of No Doubt, we’ve always loved Gwen Stefani. That’s why we’re thankful that she’s dropped her first solo work in eight years in ‘Baby Don’t Lie’. It’s no ‘Hollaback Girl’, but the galloping hook just screams for the charts. The hypercolour video is making us dizzy, in a good way.
Ever-hyped Sydney BAND DMA’s have some big shoes to fill after the success of ‘Delete’ – and with ‘Laced’ they deliver more guitar-driven pop goodness. It’s the stuff that drunken sing-a-longs are made for, and this would sound equally good being played in a pub or in a stadium.

Super minimal, moody track for a rainy day. The generically-named Wet deliver some gorgeous vocals on ‘Don’t Wanna Be Your Girl’, and if these guys collaborated with Drake, the world might not be able to climb out of the subsequent emotional abyss. This is great.
