Bondi icon Dimitri Moskovich, also known as “Mr. Bondi”, was pinned to the ground and arrested by police officers for breaching COVID-19 restrictions, after he was seen walking through fencing at Ben Buckler Point, walking past signs stating that the area was closed.
“Police attempted to speak to the man, however he walked away. As police approached him again it is alleged he became quarrelsome and argumentative”. He has since been taken to Waverley Police Station and is currently assisting with enquires according to police.
Known for his intense outdoor workouts, it seems not even the 54-year-old fitness guru is safe from the intense COVID-19 restrictions that have taken hold across the nation. Commenting later on the incident, Mr. Bondi told 9News ” I didn’t break any law, I didn’t climb any fences, I didn’t do anything at all. The police can do something to an absolute model citizen, a law-abiding citizen and treat me like animal.”
