Have never wanted to be part of a booing crowd so bad…

Aussie Prime Minister Scott Morrison continues to be the subject of public scrutiny, his lacklustre response to the QLD and Northern Rivers floods, refusal to tackle climate change and basically every fuck up you can think of further cementing him as the nation’s most disliked commander-in-chief of all time. But being in the echo chamber he’s in, he doesn’t get to experience the full brunt of the nation’s contempt for him as often as you’d think. That is, however, until he got a good dose of reality at Shane Warne’s state funeral yesterday.

The PM was a part of the official party for the proceedings at Victoria’s MCG when the frosty moment came into being, with TV personality Eddie Maguire reading out his name for the 30,000 attendees. In response, the Victorian crowd quickly booed in response, making their distaste for the Liberal leader known. As expected, video from the moment shows everyone around the PM noticeably tense up, with Sco Mo himself clearly jarred by the cold reception.
