As many of you may be slowly figuring out as you go to load the next track in your YouTube playlist or attempt to watch a funny video of a kid falling of a swing set – the site is down. We don’t know how, we don’t know why and we don’t know when it will be back.

Has the tech giant, that is owned by our search engine overlords Google, finally succumbed to 2020 energy and died? Is it trying to reach out and send us a message? YouTube’s team have taken to Twitter to let their global audience know that they are aware of the issue and are fixing it as we speak. We can only imagine how much money they are haemorrhaging every second that the site is down…
