We’ll be lacing up a pair of Bred 1s in honour of His Airness himself, Michael Jordan – who celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

He’s basketball’s most iconic figure, not only for his supreme playing skills – but also his influence in the fashion realm, having revolutionised Nike’s basketball footwear into a new sneaker subculture unto itself. It’s virtually impossible to go out today and not see at least one pair of Jordans on foot, which assures us that his legacy will live on forever.
