This past Saturday saw Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal and NFL star Rob Gronkowski put on a livestream together to raise money for social justice. The pair competed in a series of challenges, with Shaq playing for the Boys & Girls Club of America and Gronkowski playing for the NAACP.
The duo faced off with each other in everything from lip sync battles to jousting, but the real highlight came when Shaq dunked on a basketball hoop that wasn’t NBA regulation. You can probably guess the rest, with Shaq ripping the rim right off the backboard with one hand. It’s so clean, with the backboard in seemingly perfect condition (minus the absent rim of course). In typical Shaq fashion he treats the camera to a mad flex afterwards, with Gronkowski in utter shock as he stares upon the relocated rim. The whole vid is a hilarious reminder of the total beast Shaq really is, and that he’s still got it all these years later. Check the full clip below.
