Fans look back the biggest moment in rock history; “Nothing since has even come close.”

Celebrating the 25-year anniversary of their legendary concerts in North London, quintessential rock band Oasis have unveiled the trailer for their upcoming doco, Oasis Knebworth 1996The film, which is set to hit cinemas late next month, compiles archive footage and fan reactions of the band’s record-breaking set in Kenbworth, a two-night gig that would go on to become “the biggest that’s ever been seen in the UK.”

Directed by Jake Scott and executive produced by Oasis alum Noel and Liam Gallagher, the documentary covers never-before-seen recounts of the history-making performance to a crowd some 250,000 revellers strong. It will also trace the Gallagher’s late ‘90s ascent to rock superstardom alongside fellow bandmates Paul Arthurs, Tony McCarroll and Allan White.

But aside from all the back-stage preparations and the sea of arm-flailing moshers is the music. Backed by live renditions of Oasis’ biggest hits like ‘Roll With It’ and ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger,’ the trailer promises both a head-banging and biographical look at one of the world’s most successful musical acts.

Noel and the gang will grace our screens when ‘Oasis Knebworth 1996’ premiers on September 23rd (find tickets here), and fans can also grab a live album and DVD/Blu-ray version on November 19th (pre-order here).
