Artists Jake Pedrana and MLAK are combining their visual mastery with a dual exhibition in Twenty Twenty Six Gallery this week. Hailing from Bondi and Byron Bay respectively, the pair are set to brighten the walls of the Bondi gallery on Thursday (June 2), showcasing their expressionist work after coming together during isolation two years.
Over the years, the duo’s work has been seen in galleries from Queensland to Los Angeles, and the upcoming Bondi exhibition will remain open for a little over two weeks until June 19. In a statement about the exhibition, Pedrana x MLAK said the ‘Here and Now’ show is about being “staying present in a world that’s lucid, fast and unpredictable.” The event will be sponsored by Pals, and promises aesthetes a colourful glimpse into two of NSW’s most talented artists.
