Snakes On A Plane meets real life…

It’s rare, but not unheard of for a pilot to roast a flight  over an intercom. Maybe passengers aren’t staying in their seats during takeoff, are abusing staff, or God forbid, there’s a bunch of snakes causing havoc on a plane. The latter of the three is probably the most relevant to this article, however, as a bunch of airdropped nudes were the cause for a pilot’s mid-air scolding on a recent flight to Cabo.

A TikTok video of the whole incident is now making the rounds online, with user @teighmars capturing the pilot’s in-flight announcement from her seat.

“So here’s the deal”, the pilot can be heard saying in the video. “If this continues while we’re on the ground, I’m going to have to pull back to the gate, everybody’s going to have to get off, we’re going to have to get security involved and your vacation is going to be ruined.”

“So you folks, whatever that AirDrop thing is, quit sending naked pictures, and let’s get yourself to Cabo.”

The clip has since racked up 2.5 million views online and has even prompted the airline in question to address the incident, with Southwest Airlines stating that, “The safety, security and wellbeing of Customers and Employees is the Southwest Team’s highest priority at all times. When made aware of a potential problem, our employees address issues to support the comfort of those traveling with us.”

Long story short, the next time you’re in the air and are bored enough to start airdropping nudes to the pilot, maybe consider watching an in-flight movie instead. In this instance, we’d recommend the Samuel L. Jackson’s classic Snakes On A Plane for obvious reasons. You’re welcome!
