At Bellator 158 in London over the weekend, Michael Page battled Evangelista ‘Cyborg’ Santos in a welterweight match – and ended the match swiftly with a brutal flying knee in the second round. What had everybody talking was his post-fight celebration, where he donned a Pokemon hat and rolled a Pokeball towards Santos’ face-down body. Heavy:
This is incredible. Michael Page wins his fight with a knockout and then grabs a Pokeball and catches his opponent. pic.twitter.com/w8UjJLjvWz

Santos was hospitalised and now the true extent of the damage is coming into the limelight. He suffered a serious fractured skull, saying “I’m under observation now and will have surgery in the United States. I had a serious injury, but Bellator is giving me all the support I need.” His ex-wife, fellow MMA fighter Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino, posted this image to Instagram with an X-Ray that’ll make you shudder, while the dent in Santos’ forehead should tell you that this would have really, really, really hurt:
Fingers crossed that Santos makes a speedy recovery.
