White Claw and Aquabumps put on a show last night in Bondi.

There’s no one who’s shot the Eastern coastline quite like Eugene Tan AKA Aquabumps. When you step foot into an apartment in Bondi, there’s gotta be at least a 50% chance that one of his prints will be on the wall, with his imagery capturing the power and colour of the ocean like no one else.

Last night’s collection, which was displayed at his gallery in Bondi as part of the White Claw Big Wave Series, was entirely shot in winter, and you could really feel the chill and raw force in each image, which Uge described as “an ode to the ocean on its biggest and finest days.”

Naturally, there were plenty of White Claws doing the rounds too, with the brand’s new Green Apple flavour keeping the packed-out gallery refreshed as everyone wandered through the collection.

Uge wasn’t the only photographer getting some wall space either. As part of the Big Wave Series, White Claw and Aquabumps opened up a photography comp to the public, with Trent Slatter taking out the win for his powerful shot of a wave forming over a reef. His image was professionally printed and hung alongside Aquabumps’ work for the exhibition.
