Some of the raddest brands in the country have teamed up to raise money for the NICU at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Randwick.
There is probably no greater way to experience helplessness than watching a child suffer and realising there’s little you can do to protect them. It’s a common occurrence at Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Royal Women’s Hospital in Randwick, where babies are regularly treated for life-threatening illnesses and afflictions, as their parents look on.
It’s something that Kieran and Sky Burke experienced in May when their son Jack was born prematurely and was rushed to the NICU to endure life-saving surgery. Jack then spent the next 54 days of his life at the NICU where staff worked tirelessly to set him along on the path to recovery, a journey we can happily confirm he is on now.
As a show of gratitude to all of the NICU staff at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Kieran and Skye have teamed up with a huge conglomerate of Aussie companies and labels to throw a raffle to raise funds for the hospital wing that saved their son’s life. For $25 you can buy one of 3,000 tickets to go into the draw to win a prize list that is too long to mention (see it all below), with all proceeds going to the NICU.
