So it’s Saturday night, and you’re in the club.

You look great, but everyone’s avoiding you. Why? Because your dance moves are offensively uncoordinated. You want to improve, but you’ve never been to a dance class before. So what do you do? You sign up for Groove Therapy, of course!

Groove Therapy is a totally legit, beginners hip hop dance class that can teach you dance floor friendly moves, whilst making sure you don’t look offensively uncoordinated. Operating on the notion that anyone can move to a simple beat, Groove Therapy isn’t just a fitness class – it’s a proper class that will teach you hip hop dance 101. Taught by industry professional Vanessa Marian, you’ll be taught the fundamentals in a strictly non-hater environment. Vanessa’s backed by a vast street dance experience ranging from NYC to to Tokyo to Berlin, so you know she knows what she’s talking about.

Located at 107 Projects, Redfern, the classes run at 6pm every Tuesday, and are $20 on the door. You can also secure your spot on their website, over at www.groovetherapy101.com. For more information, keep glued to their Facebook and Instagram.

So what are you waiting for? It’s time to improve your chances of winning that Saturday night dance floor battle.
