The saga continues…

In what is another instalment in this bloody intense saga, Chef Pete Evans’ podcast has been removed from Spotify. The former celeb-chef announced the booting on his Instagram, posting a picture of the Spotify logo with the caption “Looks like my podcast channel has been removed from this company. Could it have something to do with the many brave doctors and scientists that we interview, that are warning people about these poisons that’s disguised as medicine?”

“Or could it do with the hundreds of hours of information that helps people live a healthy lifestyle…or both? You will always find us on the evolvenetwork.tv which will always be uncensored for you all.”

Pretty wild, but surprisingly, Spotify has already given a statement on the decision, saying “Spotify prohibits content on the platform which promotes dangerous false, deceptive, or misleading content about COVID-19 that may cause offline harm and/or pose a direct threat to public health.

“When content that violates this standard is identified it is removed from the platform.”

Spotify now joins a pretty exclusive club, with Facebook banning Evans weeks ago after spreading misinformation relating to the pandemic, the vaccine and a bunch of unsupported health claims.

“We don’t allow anyone to share misinformation about COVID-19 that could lead to imminent physical harm or COVID-19 vaccines that have been debunked by public health experts,” Facebook said in a statement.

“We have clear policies against this type of content and we’ve removed Chef Pete Evans’ Facebook Page for repeated violations of these policies.”

Crazy stuff, but we’re guessing this isn’t the last chapter we’ve heard in this story. Check out Evans’ Instagram post responding to the booting below.
