Back in 2005, Raph Rashid gave us an intimate insight into the creative process behind hip-hop artists in his coffee table book, ‘Behind The Beat.’

Now, 12 years later, Rashid is back with his follow-up, launching tonight at RVCA Corner Gallery in Collingwood. ‘Back To The Lab: Hip Hop Home Studios’ will delve into the home studios of another 28 artists, tracking the journey from ‘head to tape, where dreams become reality.’

Tonight, a limited amount of books will be available for purchase at RVCA Corner Gallery, where an exhibition around the piece will also run until November 26. Head on down, and learn the stories behind some of the genre’s greatest minds.
