Not smart guys…

A Florida pastor is continuing to have packed church services despite the prescribed social distancing regulations in place in the U.S., claiming that he’ll cure the virus the same way he cured Zika.

Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, of the River Church In Tampa, isn’t kidding, asserting that “We have the most sterile building in, I don’t know, all of America.” Big words right?

The Pastor claims to be ahead of the curve when it comes to fighting the disease too, exclaiming that “We brought in 13 machines that basically kill every virus in the place, and uh, if somebody walks through the door it’s like, it kills everything on them. If they sneeze, it shoots it down at like 100 mph. It’ll neutralise it in split seconds”. Consider us jealous? I guess if there was any place that would be ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to fighting the virus, it would definitely be some random church in Florida.

This is proper scary stuff, as the service sees worshipers enclosed in an extremely tight space and not practising social distancing in the slightest. What are the odds someone in that service walked in with the virus and inadvertently infected at least another person in that congregation? Pretty damn high right.

Other Pastors like Pastor Joel Osteen are holding virtual services to protect his congregation to practise proper social distancing and slow the spread. So if you’re ever thinking of breaking social distancing regulations, just think “What would Pastor Joel do?”
