Already has us plenty hyped though…

It’s safe to say the details concerning Space Jam 2 have been kept locked TF down since it’s production was announced. Over the years we’ve gotten little teasers here and there, little hints about what we could expect from the long-awaited sequel to the 1996 classic. But now LeBron James and SpringHill Entertainment have taken the word “teaser” to another level, dropping a one-second clip (yes, the clip is literally one second) from the new film, and I hate to admit it but this has got me even more hyped.

Now, we have an idea of what the film overall is gonna look like, along with who to expect when it drops July 16. From what we can tell, LeBron James and Bugs Bunny are definitely in it, and there seems to be some sort of wormhole in the middle of a NBA basketball court, which, knowing Space Jam, probably leads to an alternate reality or some whacky shit.

But yes, as of now that’s all we really know. It’s good to see LeBron have his acting face on though, which will no doubt be a huge improvement on Michael Jordan in the original (anyone could beat that performance though). But still, the new teaser did exactly what it intended: give fans the tiniest insight into the new film without giving too much away, and drum up even more excitement. Bravo is all I have to say.

If you’re not satisfied with one-second teasers however, we got you, as we have an idea of what the new uniforms will look like. Teasing fans in August last year, ESPN dropped a 13-second clip (that’s more like it) of James wearing the new Tune Squad kit, and they straight up look dope AF. The clip also featured an anxiety-inducing, staccato-heavy beat as James walks through the rainbow-filled room with that magnetic stage presence. No doubt the soundtrack and his acting are gonna be exactly what the new film needs, and will easily end up being a classic for the younger generation.

Check out the Tune Squad reveal below.
