The country was no doubt rocked by the announcement of The Grass Is Greener’s return on Tuesday, the beloved music festival making waves for not only its explosive lineup, but its decision to incorporate NFTs into this year’s event.

Following suit of its US and EU counterparts, this year’s iteration of the renowned event is set to be the nation’s first ever festival to incorporate the digital tokens into this year’s proceedings. To break things down a bit, a total of 1,111 NFTs will be on offer via a limited edition The Grass Is Greener collection, and will offer not only access to the event in the form of a ticket, but will come with a wide range of perks.

Ranging from unique and exclusive experiences on-site at the festival to Lifetime Ticket NFTs, Backstage Pass NFTs and plenty more, this year’s festivities are no doubt set to lead the way for Aussie festivals to come. To kick things off, the festival is giving out 5 x TGIG NFTs which will grant entry to a location of the winner’s choice along with the chance to win lifetime tickets or a backstage pass, which will include artist meet & greets.
