Each NFT drop will coincide with their annual pay-per-view events…

Following suit of its combat sports counterpart UFC Strike and NBA Top Shot, beloved wrestling organisation WWE has announced that it is joining the NFT world, launching its own NFT marketplace “Moonsault” and dropping its first collection, titled “NFT Flip”.

The collection features 10,000 pieces of the NFT flip which will be available to buy in threes for $30 USD ($41 AUD) or $30 in crypto. Named after one of the most iconic moves of the WWE sphere, each piece from the first drop will transform upon purchasing to reveal a 10-20 second clip of a WWE superstar from a past Hell in a Cell match.

It seems not only the hallowed Hell in a Cell will be the subject of a collection, as all of the organisation’s future NFT drops will be tied into each annual pay-per-view. Needless to say, we’ll be keeping an eye out come Wrestlemania. For now, check out some iconic moments from Hell in a Cell below and keep up to date on the latest “Moonsault” news to come.
